The pandan plant is a fragrant plant, popular with dessert dishes as it alleviate its aroma.
Planting and Care:
-Requires part shaded position
-Likes moist but not wet soil
Recommended Recipe:
Pandan Leaf Chicken
Ingredients:
-Pandan leaves
-500g chicken boneless chicken thigh, cut into chunks
-2 tablespoons minced garlic
-3 tablespoons oyster sauce
-2 tablespoon fish sauce/soya sauce
-1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
-Some ground pepper
-oil, as needed for frying.(can use air fryer too)

Cooking:
-Marinate the chicken in the sauces, garlic, sesame seed oil for at least 2 hours.
-Wrap some chicken in the pandan leaves and steam for about 10mins
-Deep fried in oil until golden brown or use the air fryer to fry in 180 degrees for about 20mins
-Transfer chicken onto kitchen towels to absorb any excess oil.
